Any scheduled Basel preview events yet?

Has anyone's AD scheduled a Basel preview even yett this year? I seem to remember them last year being mid-April, but my ADs don't have any scheduled yet.

I am curious why AD's would bother? Since they will have little to no inventory to actually sell, this type of customer outreach seems very disingenuous

I agree Although I will admit that when they do have these events, I look forward to going for the company and booze

Any scheduled Basel preview events yet?

30th May for my AD’s group...there could be one sooner in a different region in the UK

However, Tudor are doing one on 30th April so looks like I’ll get to see the Tudor ones before Rolex!

Yeah, got an email from my AD here in Toronto last Friday. The Rolex Event date here is May 15th. Details to follow.

I'm less enthusiastic about this years models than last years. I'm hoping to badger the Rolex Canada Rep for a watch and tell him Rolex Geneva have made their point the past couple years and to release the Kraken.

X3 here ... maybe you can take a picture or even hold something you can't purchase

Why bother you still can't purchase a SS sport from Basel 2018 without a lot of $$ spending or luck

30th May for me.

Be interesting to see the new watches in the flesh even though I wasn't impressed with this years releases.

They bring in all the new releases but they are just display pieces with no movements. Then you get to try it on and make bets with your friends on how long it will take to buy a real one.

Haven't received a formal date yet but my AD is going to be hosting one in May. For anyone in West LA - it's going to be at the Geary's Santa Monica location. Would be cool if we could get a few TRF guys to show up!

I spoke to Razny Jewelers in the Chicago area. They haven't confirmed the date, but sounds like late May, early June at their Chicago boutique.

Less important than previous years, and last year I think a few London ones didn't bother at all.
