I’m honestly considering hunting for a Seadweller 43 but one question that I have is how thick is it compared to a SubMariner Ceramic? I’ve looked for thickness specs but can’t find it anywhere.

Thicker than a Sub,more like a DSSD,but slightly thinner .
I think the SD43 overall is a winner in size

Also,it kills a Sub,when placed next to each other .

2 or 3 mm thicker than the Sub. with the DeepSea being 2 to 3 mm thicker than the SD4K. SD4K is 75% of the DeepSea & Sub is 75% of SD4K.

The SD 43 is 15.2 mm thick. The SubC is 12.5mm depending who measures

Left to right - Deepsea, SD4K, Submariner.

The SD43 is the same thickness as the SD4k

It is indeed as the pic shows. The SD43 is the same thickness as the SD4K (centre)

I have both (SubC and SD43) and the SD43 is 2.3mm more thick than the Sub. 150grms vs 182grams

Honestly you need to wear it on your own wrist and see for yourself how you like the wear on you.

We all know SD43 is some mm thicker than sub, and some mm thinner than DSSD. But, so what?
Comparing numbers and specs will get you to nowhere in your buying decision.

I agree with you, but in this market buyers often purchase without the luxury of being able to try the watch on first. This just helps the buyer become more informed

Of course it will get you somewhere. If you can't try on a watch, knowing it compares with watches you can try on is immediately useful

If I could find one, I would try it on.. however.. that’s not happening. So I basically use my Black bay Bronze as a reference size as well as my Omega Planet Ocean.

The SD43, besides it being slightly thicker, is a more homogeneous design than the current sub. The lugs look “right” and, I feel that this move back back to the 5 digit proportions, will eventually carry over in future sports watch updates.
