Question: Is the bezel shaped a bit differently on 114300 vs 214270?

Rolex friends, I might be imagining it, so I'll be grateful if anyone can chime in on this: In photos, the bezel of 114300 (OP 39) appears to be slightly domed in shape, while the bezel of 214270 (Exp I 39) does not.

I'm noodling a choice between the two watches. I owned a 214270 once before, and this time I'm leaning 114300, but chances are I won't handle one in person before I go ahead and purchase from a Trusted Seller or another TRF member. If the bezel on 114300 is slightly domed then that's a plus for me, but there are some significant pluses for 214270, too (cooler hands, better clasp).

Thanks in advance!

They are slightly different, flat vs crowned. Same exact case, slightly different bezels.

Thanks for confirming. This may be the deciding factor for me.

What a dynamite resource the TRF community is

I mean this the nicest way because you'll find videos, pictures and "vs" comparisons galore: Google is also a dynamite resource.

Thanks Larry! You have a variant of the other watch that's on my radar, too: the current DJ 36. The Basel 2019 release (in steel with WG bezel) has me intrigued. I kinda figured we would see the updated steel DJ 36 at Basel this year, and I may go out of my way to arrange an in-person comparison between it and the OP 39 before I buy a watch. The OP is probably the watch for me, but I'm a sucker for a Jubilee bracelet and a shiny fluted bezel

Totally fair. I started to use the search function here in The Forum, but I'll admit I only spent a couple of minutes browsing the results before I stopped and took the lazy route this time. Thanks for making it easy for me

I love both watches, but the OP is a bit easier to wear, I think. Enjoy the hunt! Although, "hunt" may be overstating the process for these Classic line pieces. Which is kinda nice, isn't it?
