1958 Daydate Roulette Discussion

Hi,

Yesterday there was a pretty interesting discussion here, started by a user named rcsami regarding a 1958 Daydate with red dates, which quickly escalated. I was keen to see its continuation and the responses, but can't find it. Was it deleted?

I'm sure he deleted it knowing potential buyers (if they exist) would see the thread.

The poster was flogging his for-sale watch.

We remove these thinly veiled attempts to draw bids/attention for sales items. If it is continued or flagrant, we remove the seller.

But how will other collectors/buyers know of the history related to this thread.

Can if be restored? I agree about removing his listing, but not the tread - by removing it, you just approved everything that he did

If sellers were all running a discussion dialogue on the watches they were listing, we would have more of a madhouse than we already have; essentially balancing two sales platforms.

There is a well justified discussion of Luke Rottman on this forum and I'm glad it's there. Giving someone a free pass leads to more headaches than not.

Just realized that this guy's listing is still up... I had assumed it got deleted along with the important thread exposing his intentions. If anything, that original thread should be LOCKED but kept viewable, for the sake of anyone considering buying anything from him.
