Love that case. Reminiscent of some of the higher-end YG Grand Seikos from the late 1960s-70s.

That’s correct, although sometimes past is better off staying in the past.

On the flip side I’m usually paranoid about scratching polished cases but guess I don’t have to with this watch, it came already beat up.

congratulations ! Looking forward to seeing pics and hearing about your opinions on the case, once in hand.

Part of me wishes that there was some areas of finish that contrast, maybe on the bezel edges or flanks, but regardless; what a magnificent watch.
