Question re: GV Crown

Hi Guys,

I was studying the crown on my GV and noted that it does not sit fully flush with the watch case - there seems to be a tiny gap between the crown and the case even when fully screwed down, such that there is a tiny black "shadow" line between the watch and the crown.

Is this normal, or should it be completely flush?

No, it should not sit completely flush. The crown seals with a gasket inside that contacts the screw tube at the top.

If your crown contacted the case first, it would never seal at the gasket..

Thanks Larry, this is the first non-professional model (well the first without crown guards) I've owned so wasn't sure what it should look like
