Icon9 Sent My 116500 Daytona To RSC Today!

First time I have had a problem with a Rolex under Warranty. It was not keeping time properly and had no reserve when left even overnight.

I was told I'd get it back in a month. I hope they get it sorted out!

It's a mechanical device; they work most of the time and just needs to be set-up correctly to work. I'm certain they'll fix whatever is wrong and get it back to you.

How long have you had it before it showed any signs of issues?

Sorry to hear but I'm sure it'll be an easy and quick turnaround. Like new again.

I also had to send in my less than 1 year old 116500 to RSC recently. I hadn’t worn it for a couple weeks and as I was winding it up, there was some resistance and grinding sound/feeling. It was odd because I have never had any problems with any of my Rolex watches prior, including my 2013 116520. RSC checked it out and said they need to keep it for 4-6 weeks for service. Luckily there is warranty and it should come back perfectly! Good luck to yours!

I recently sent in and got my 2.5 it old DaytonaC for really loud rotor noise. They said it needed oil and the turnaround was 2 weeks under warranty. I also had to send in my wife’s 28mm datejusts after about a year because the crown weirdly kept coming loose and popping out. Also fixed under warranty.

They will sort it out. They always do. The bummer is being without your watch but it will be back.

If any consolation you still have plenty of other pieces to wear while it's gone.

Which RSC did it go to? Dallas? I live there and always have good results when I've needed a service from them.

I have a broken 116509 too. Still in my watch roll since it is out-of-warranty. Pondering whether to send it to RSC or independent watchmaker. RSC performance in our country is a little “meh”.

I took it to a local AD and didn’t ask where they were sending it. I guess I should have just to know.
