I am stumped?

Hello,

My name is Jacob, I am 23 years old and I have just recently contracted the bug pertaining to not just watches but Rolex. I am particularly set on vintage models and I just picked up this Rolex Prima watch and wanted to see if I could get some insight on it. I have spent days now looking and researching but haven't been able to find another dial with this specific design wondering if it perhaps is a refinish? The serial has me thinking it is mid to late 40s. What can some of the veterans tell me about this watch? I have crammed as much knowledge as I possibly could these last couple weeks but it seems I am at a stand still. I can't wait to meet and gain knowledge in this exciting community.

Best regards!

Jacob
