On an even trade I would do it if I liked this DD, which by the way, is one of the most popular iterations and fairly hard to get.

If the green dial and the TT blue dial Subs are not getting any wrist time and you prefer the gold President, why not?

I personally will not do that trade. I can’t imagine wearing the President the way I wear my SS blue and black dial subs.

I tend to wear my Tudor BB and Chronograph as my daily watches. Since the HULK continues to go up in price, I thought it might be good to trade since the value is high and before is comes down in price ( if it does) once Rolex starts releasing them to the ADs.

Personally speaking I would do it as I love that DD - it's really an amazing looking watch.

Is it a straight trade? If so I assume you done the maths in terms of just RRP alone, it's quite an amazing deal.

Hulk+Bluesy = £17300
RG DD = £28850

That means your watches get an inflated value of £11550...pretty damn good deal if you really wanted that watch. Of course you might take a bath on the DD should you then get bored whilst your other two watches will only rise so I do get the dilemma.

I love the blue sunburst dial too much to let it go. I would trade the Hulk and add cash. The RG/olive dial combo is awesome!

IF that is a direct trade hell yes I would. Your getting an awesome deal even purely based on monetary terms.

The DD40 RG is selling $30k+ these days. The LV and the LB are not worth even $25k on a trade together.

A member of the watch club I'm in got offered $12k for a used LV and 11k for Bluesy only a few weeks ago.

The RG DD is a very specialist piece and I personally wouldn’t feel comfortable wearing it in every day situations.

I also wouldn’t want to lose 2 awesome pieces for the sake of 1 replacement.

So it’s a no from me
