Which 116520 do you prefer?

We know that there is more demand for the white 116500 over the black version but what about for the 116520? I currently own the white one and love it but the black is a very close second. The white is so clean and wears perfectly dressed up or down.

What do you guys think?

Can't go wrong with either, slight preference for the black dial.

I am usually conservative with dial color which usually deep dark color. But Daytona must be white for me.

100% White. Was always harder to come by and always in highest demand. I know 20+ people who passed on the black in hopes to acquire the white. Some got it and some didn’t.

I vote white for daytona and explorer...
Subs and GMTs get the black vote.

White for me, but only because I have many watches with black dials.

When I was buying a new 116520 Daytona back in 2013 I was presented with both black and white versions. In the end I went with the white dial as I just liked it better.
After ceramic 116500 was released knowing I'll add it to my collection eventually I wish now my 116520 was black as for me 116500 white is the only way to go.

Black is more sought after for 116520, and this is reflected in market prices.

In this variant I prefer black, whereas the later ceramic I prefer white contrast with the black bezel.

I asked for a white, was told I was getting a black, ended up being a white, then had to get a black

Both dials are equally stunning for different reasons. No wrong answers here.

But if either or...white dial for the win!

Having owned both, you can't go wrong with either. I ended keeping the black because I prefer the white in the 116500 (to pair)

I'm an oddball. Prefer white for the 520 and black for the 500.

Had both, liked the white dial more

I like the black dial more with the new ceramic bezel versions in stainless steel.

For this model I prefer the black dial. Usually I prefer a white dial on a Daytona. The white against the same colored bezel and case makes it too bland for me.

Black dial for better contrast.

My wife likes the white and it does look better on her wrist
