Rolex and cruise
I am not sure if there is a post about Rolex and cruise. In a previous post I asked about which Rolex should I bring on vacation, and here are some photos. Thanks all for the advices, I am having a great time with my watch in the Caribbeans. In San Juan right now, the weather is awesome! 20190514_135645.jpg20190514_101826.jpg

I only checked out the ADs in Bermuda and Sint Maarten. Both places have no hot sport models either. Bermuda AD is so friendly, they love to talk to you, even if they know you are there for the hot models. They said they would love to sell me one but they don't receive many watches from Rolex. Sint Maarten AD is alright, they have TT Daytona, YM2 steel etc. They said they have waiting list for all the hot sports models. 1 year wait for black submariner, 4 years wait for GMT Pepsi and 7 years wait for 116500LN. I wonder who is on the list. The cruise/vacation people? The locals? Well, they have a small population on the island. Anyway, the shortage is global, just forget about getting one in the Caribbeans, unless you are very lucky(the AD just receives a shipment from Rolex).
