I'd trade it for either, preferably the SD43.

Only you can answer this. If the BLNR isn't doing it for you anymore, then by all means switch it out with something that does. You obviously limit yourself when subjecting the transaction to certain trades only, but it can be done.

To be brutally honest a BLNR is just a regular GMT with a half blue bezel. When I owned this watch it did nothing for me at all after my honeymoon period was over.
The CHNR on the other hand looks miles better and is totally unique piece. |

Without hesitation. As someone who briefly owned a BLNR and currently owns a CHNR, I can tell you that there is really no comparison. The CHNR is far and away the better looking of the two. Of course that is my subjective opinion...objectively you'd be trading into an upgraded movement, and a more expensive watch at MSRP (not to mention the RG!)

For some reason I'm not nearly as high on the CHNR now as I was a year ago. Not sure what it is but to my eyes it hasn't aged well. Beautiful watch but I think the SD will stand the test of time a little better. I do prefer both over a BLNR however so I would pull the trigger regardless of which you prefer.

Keep the BLNR it’s now discontinued on the oyster bracelet and IMO much more versatile than the CHNR

Why trade? Just because you can does not mean you should. The one is a two tone and for me no place on a sport watch. The other is a nice watch, but not as versatile, larger and less comfortable.

I would keep it. Knowing that certain steel sport Rolex watches are head to head with ones with precious metals, gives me an uneasy feeling. It would (for me), be like trading down, not up.

Vote for CHNR. Straight trade is a great deal. Excluding market price, you are getting a PM (TT) watch, with updated movement that retails for 50% more than the BLNR.

CHNR for a BLNR
If you find someone daft Enough to do it ....do it You will be the winner in that trade. One is a GMT with a 2 colour bezel The other is a work of art where the dial hands bezel and bracelet just match and compliment each other perfectly ....beautifully designed |

at the end of the day, CHNR is a TT.
SS is the way to go for ROLEX sports. |
