Have a local guy that has box and papers for a 16803 (1988 vintage) bluesy. He is asking $8500 but I think there's a fair bit of wiggle room on pricing. What do y'all think would be a good ask? Also weighing whether I should get a current vintage bluesy instead

My last serious look was an $8000 offer on a 2002 Bluesy in excellent condition. It went that same day to another that offered $8200.

Take a look at Bob's Watches. Not that I buy from him, but it has buy and sell prices on most Rolexes. My guess is something in the $7000 range or slightly over. Bob had the 2002 at $6400 buy and $8700 sell.
