New Addition... U-Boat
Well, after a year of debating - I've pulled the trigger on a U-Boat Flightdeck MBG 50mm.. Only a handful of dealers in the UK, one of which is in my home town of St.Albans.. Managed to get a deal after a spot of haggling, at 17% discount, so this little baby came home It's not an everyday watch by any means - but sure will be a fun watch to wear, particularly in the summer
002.jpg 003.jpg 013.jpg You'll either love it or hate it - but I won't take offence !!

Looking good. I really like the double second hand.
You wear the size well!

Curious...
How big is your wrist? Also, I agree with MFer, I think the sub dial second hand really makes that watch.

Hmmm, too big of a watch for me at 6 and 3/4...
Your wrist is just the right size but I dont think it would work on smaller guys like myself :( Again, congrats and enjoy!!

Blimey Dan!!
That is one HUGE watch,it would be far toooooooooo big for me. But at least I wouldn't have any trouble in reading the time. It appears to me, to be fairly light in weight, would that be an accurate guess? And by the way congratulations on buying it. What made you take a year to decide whether you would buy it or not?

Weight wise it's fairly heavy, and with a bracelet it certainly would be, I've worn it all weekend tho, and it's very comfortable, considering the bulk ! Really pleased. I looked on & off, but had never seen this model in the flesh, and when i did I fell in love ! Plus funds went on the GMT IIc a few months back.. John coudn't help with this one unfortunately - very few dealers in the UK, but one is 1.5 miles from my home Hope you're good..

I love all my watches to be honest, don't have any real favourite.. I've worn the U Boat constant since I bought it - but that's just the novelty !

I love U-Boat watches, but I want to try one on before I buy it, and according to the official website, the only dealer in Canada is somewhere in Quebec...
