Incoming - 116710LN
AD finally was able to get me one and collected it today. Always wanted to add one but others took priority as I didn’t see the urgency but clearly after Basel then realised I shouldn’t have been so relaxed about it...AD came to the rescue!

Had my son’s name written on the warranty card so the plan is to keep it away until his 18th birthday and hopefully will be a nice present for him.

Excellent, congrats! Any chance your AD commented on when they received the watch from Rolex? Just trying to gauge if in fact Rolex is still currently shipping these out.

It was new...came into them within the last couple of days (I think). When it became apparent soon after Basel I reached out to my AD to ask if they had one (they didn’t). But was then told a week later that Rolex were due to supply a few to selected ADs and therefore was able to secure one.

Just to add that he’s gonna have to wait around 16 years before he gets to his 18th birthday!

Reality is that “hopefully” both my kids will inherit our watches but it’s the first time I’ve thought about having his name written on one of the warranty cards and my AD couldn’t have been more happier to oblige...he loved the idea!
