Does GMTII BLNR Batman bubble pop now?

A couple weeks ago, Batman was valued for 15-16k USD at Chrono24 for pre-owned. Today, it shows up its values as 13,911 USD so its value seems drop 2k past 2 weeks since Batgirl has been released on market.

Am I right? I guess the price of batman will continue to drop and eventually hang around between 10 to 12k.

I certainly hope so. I'd love to see them actually come down to an attainable price. My hunch is no though.

It’s also an older movement. NIB DS Blues also hve lower prices for the older movement compared to latest movement.

I don't believe so, value is based on condition. It's normal to have $2-3K variance when comparing an older watch with more wear. Did you compare both offerings? OR was this the exact same listing and you noticed the price has decreased? That will give you your answer.

Not sure I would check the years, it is maybe 2k under because the time under warranty is less

You can't look at a few watches-for-sale listings and clearly predict market trends. Then again, I'm not going to buy or wear a wristwatch based on what I think it's market value upon reselling will be. That takes the fun out of it for me. I get it if I like it.

Regarding this matter , I contacted with Chrono24 and asked the situation and they replied me that they have a bug , a technical problem and hope it is going to be sold by tomorrow.

I had a pop-up on chrono saying the algorithm used for watch valuation was improved and prices of my watches were recalculated. the LN went from 70% profit to 50% profit so I guess it better reflects reality now.

Nope, I don't think value is gonna drop. Good luck to you if you think it will. I think it is only gonna go skywards.

I think price has stabilized for the most part and may go up slightly but it may even go the other way, no one knows. I don’t see them “skyrocketing” from this point, but there are many delusional owners that think it will so we’ll see what happens.

As long as availability at the AD remains limited, the prices will stay where they are i.e. Well above MSRP.

To be really sure what your watch is worth you need an offer from somebody that will stand by their offer.

I was offered £11,500 for my late 2018 blnr but I don’t want to sell it but it was a serious offer.

well. I will be happy if the price won't be dropped as an owner of BLNR, but honestly current price is ridiculously high. I purchased a new one below MSRP at my established AD so I am one of the lucky one : )

IT issues with Chrino today. I see it on other references too. One shows value at 22k but over 30+ listings, nothing under 25k.

tech issues

All Rolexes are in a “bubble”, not just the blnr. Unless Rolex opens the gates and floods the market with the new BLNR (highly unlikely) and other hot models, the BLNR pricing and SS sports model pricing as a whole will stay the same imo.

I was offered "around £11" off of my wrist for my (not pristine) 2017 by a grey dealer this week when I was in looking at their stock. This was unsolicited...

There's a lot of Oyster BLNRs so I don't think the prices will skyrocket, but I think they'll steadily climb over time from here on out. It's clear that enthusiasts on the whole prefer the Oyster to the Jubilee, so even if the Jubilee is more available driving its price down, the Oyster will be more valuable long term.

I did notice that Bob's watches lowered the buy price from $13000 to $12500 this week. Maybe it's due to Batgirl hitting the market :)
