Hello chaps,

I am lucky to report this news. But I have a few concerns, given the watch's scarcity in store, I've not been able to try it on.

COLOUR issue?
I have read (online) that the bezel colour has changed a little, to that of the 2018 examples.

SIZE issue?
I should have the watch within a few weeks... question is, coming from the 16610 and 17014 - will the GMT feel and look massive?

I have a fairly 'normal' sized wrist, but the Sub looks and feels great. I've been wearing this same watch for 21 years.

If someone has the new GMT and 16610 - a picture comparison would be helpful. Along with some words of comfort.

With best wishes and greetings from Berlin.

I'm not sure about the bezel colour change but don't worry about the fit, it's perfect. I have the disc. Blnr on oyster.

The bezel was updated and the size will be fine for you I would imagine coming from a 5 digit. Both are listed as 40mm and I find the jubilee more comfortable but that is preference.

was not updated. Jesus. Somebody considerable (ablogtowatch, watchadvisor, fratellowatches , Donald Trump, etc...) would allready mentioned it.

Mine is from 4/2019 and it can give on pictures any saturated pink/violet as You wish. (reality is worlds far away, of course). Looks totaly identical (on eye spectrometer) to piece delivered 10/2018. End of story.

I have a 2003 16610 with sel and a blro . The pepsi is more comfy to wear with the jubilee bracelet.

I think you really have to see the watch to confirm you concerns.

If you are buying from AD, then you should be able to try the watch before you make the purchase; if you are buying from grey, ask for return policy in case you don't like it

I'd consider Eric Ku someone pretty reputable and he has said it's changed. Also a Rolex watchmaker on this forum has stated there is two different shades. It's really not a big deal, the difference is very minimal anyway so it's not something I'd worry about. I don't understand why people are so staunchly opposed to the idea they made a slight change. They're both beautiful.

Sorry , I dont buy the story. He is still the only one from long list reputable persons that stated so.. I cant imagine that Rolex would do such a thing, because it would give to customers bad feelings about Rolex fixing things during production.. And secondly, difference of color on that picture is pretty significant, not slight by any means..

They've done similar plenty of times. 16610lv inserts come in multiple shades of green. The 214270 had the hands extended. 3186 movements put in 16570/16710s.

They could be constantly updating there process to produce bi-color ceramic inserts and this could be a result of that. It could also just be batch variations and maybe were in for another change in the near future.

Congrats OP! You're going to love the watch. Sorry for thread jacking too I don't want this to devolve into another "is there two bezels" thread.

Did they change it after few months of production? I dont think so. Maybe there could be some upgrade (not talking about movement-thats whole different case), but doing it in so short time after start of production smells like “guys, our customers just dont like the colors, we need a fix as soon as possible, because they are (colors) actualy broken”

Just my opinion (still strongly back-uped by no hints about change from well known, trusted authorities). No flame pls.
