Issue with 16570 bezel
I bought a polar 16570 from another forum member. A month after purchase the numbers on the steel bezel are coming off. I just spent some time swimming with the watch and wonder if the salt water took them off. Is this a common problem with these early 90’s Explorers?

Salt water is not usually a solvent for the enamel used on Rolex bezels. Perhaps the numbers have been touched up at some point in time, or they have deteriorated over the years.

Why don't you bring up to the seller?
A little weird that the paint had survived years, and in one swim it fell off. |
