Found a lot of small scratches under the bezel of my 16710 which was serviced by RSC
Servicing was done back in 2015. I am quite sure that those scratches were not there before I sent it in for servicing. After it came back, I worn it slightly and kept in the safe since. Went to have a look at the watch just now and found that there are small scratches or tool markings on the entire circle under the bezel.
How did RSC left those scratches is unknown to me. This is the area where all the scratches are found. |

They probably used the wrong tool to pry the bezel of.

Sucks, but I wouldn't worry about it.. it's such a small area and unless you are scrutinizing your watch on the regular you would never notice that
(Edit - yeah I can't see anything from that dark photo either, but was giving the OP the benefit of the doubt) The more concerning part of this post is keeping a 16710 in a safe and not wearing it! |

Apart from the picture being really so bad as to be able to see nothing, it's now 4 years on so not sure what you expect RSC to do.

Picture does not really show anything.
Plus, the watch was serviced in 2015, a little late to go back and ask for it to get fixed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Don't see no scuff marks at all. Do see a lot of them on the case back. Surprised that OP you overlooked those obvious ones to focus on the inconspicuous ones.
Truth be told, I wouldn't worry about any of those scuff marks. If you wear the watch as it is intended, you are going to scuff it up some. |

Bring it up to Han Kuo-Yu. I'm sure he will take care of it.

So you create a new thread about scratches on your watch, and then show us a 4-year old picture before the scratches (you may as well have pointed us to the rolex website), and then say scratches are so tiny that you need a macro lens to show?

servicing done 2015.
4 years lapsed, there is a chance that you are at fault of those scratches?

Correct me if I’m saying anything incorrect
Pics are bad Pics are old Pics don’t show scratches This happened 4 years ago You hardly wear the watch In order to see them you have to actually take the watch off, flip it over, and inspect it very carefully? Is this a joke? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

The scratches will only.show in certain angles against the light. Will probably need macro mode to capture them.

I always place the bezel on the normal position. And the scratches appears on the area where the lugs, sels are location.if u turn the bezel towards the side of the case. Those marks can be visible.

And we don’t have x-ray vision so no help to you. If you called the RSC, what do you think they will say? The 2-yr warranty is over, you did not raise the problem during that period. But send it over to them and you’ll get a full polish job. Now ask yourself which you want: small infinitesimal marks or another polish? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

The dust mites that live on your wrist will appreciate having the unsightly underside of your bezel polished to perfection. I’d pay a hundred dollars to listen to the conversations between any RSC people addressing this “issue.”

I’d bring it up to your psychiatrist and see what he or she recommends.

The Rolex scratch-proof warranty is only good for 36 months, guess you’re on your own now !
