Celebrity Watch Sightings

I just got back from Las Vegas. I met three celebrities in person after seeing their show, and got a chance to see close-up what timepieces they wore onstage.

Elton John - Franck Muller.

Penn Jillete - Franck Muller.

Rudy Teller - None.

Interesting, I thought.

Not surprising - Franck Muller, even though I personally don't like them, has been associated with wealth for few years now, according to the Robb Report. I think it is like Jacob & Co for those who know watches - flash flash flash (although, Crazy Hours is pretty cool)

The shows were very, very good. Elton John's venue was like watching him in a small club, and I was lucky enough to be onstage with about 20 other people for a song he did. Penn & Teller were entertaining in a way I did not expect magicians to be - they were funny and edgy and wondrous. Good shows, both.

The worst thing about Muller is that his watches lose half their value the moment you leave the store. Still, I guess show business types like the outrageous style of them and the way they go with their outrageous clothing.
