Shes a keepah! (Incoming)
I was at my AD picking up a Rolesor and i got to talking about how i need a flyback chrono (5968) well unfortunately one of those hasnt come in yet for me but he had shown me something equally if not more special and i of course did not refuse! I see that some here prefer the bracelet variant with the darker black dial but i actually prefer this strap reference. The white chrono register at 6 does not bother me and i think its quite a nice contrast / striking against the rose gold & brown dial. Overall happy to add this to the growing collection and was nice of the AD to allow me to cut the seal and inhale the fine swiss air inside

FYI - the watch weighs 175.5g which is insane.

ADs are not getting many of those these days and it is very likely Patek will retire this reference next year.

Ninja is always right!!!! i have now worn the 5980R for about two weeks on travels and love it more and more. it is a rather easygoing watch, attracting little attention.
