Thanks to a good friend ....
Long ago I emailed Harrods cause I wanted that special edition Harrods Black Bay.
Owning quite a few Tudor this was one I needed . After a year or so I mailed them again asking if they had some news. Unfortunately they said they never received my email. Maybe I did something wrong, maybe they did, that doesn't matter. Thing is they told me to send them another email but in that case I was again at the end of the waiting list. Now this was something I did not like so I did not ask them again for the watch. A few months later I contacted my friend Khalid (Patekcollector on IG) and asked him if he might 'arrange' something cause I had no 'contacts' at Harrods and I knew he did. Well I can exaggerate a few hrs but I believe it was fixed in 24 hrs smile smile He spoke to Mr xxx at Harrods and told him he would love to get such a Harrods Black Bay for a friend, another collector. And that's it ...Only took some some time before I could meet Khalid again but yesterday we were both in amsterdam and I picked up my watch he bought for me smile Thanks again Khalid ! So now some pics

Nice watch and photos! And a special watch made all the more special with the watch collecting connection.
 Maybe a little sad for those without connections who are waiting patiently on the list, but, hey, that’s the way the cookie crumbles, I suppose. ;-) |
