Totally agree Mosco! I have just had a most pleasant deal with Gene and would also like to recommend him to all of Rolex Forum members. He is a real honest and nice guy who communicates really well with his clientele, completely trustworthy and a pleasure to deal with. His site is a must stop for all watch lovers and enthusiasts.

Here‘s my story about Gene Shor, the habitual liar spineless little man with serious financial problems. On October 19th I saw an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak on ebay from watchesbygene also doing business as Watch Connection, Inc. out of Buffalo Grove, Ill. He was asking 15,500 I sent him a message offering him $14,000 and offered to pay via wire transfer. He accepted.. I didn’t see a problem as he’s been selling on ebay for many years with 100% on 862 feedbacks. (I know the 100% is only for the last calendar year) He has over 200k of listed watches. Pus other forum members had purchased watches from him without a problem so I didn’t see any risk. I wired the $14k. That’s where the fun began... After numerous days of communicating with him listening to him promising he would ship the watch tomorrow.. 4 days later..watch was never shipped (don’t think he ever had it or much of his claimed inventory) so naturally i got cold feet and cancelled the order. asked him to refund my money immediately. he said, no problem I'll take care of that Monday. Very Long story made short, today is January 4th after 10 weeks, 170 calls (3% of which he answered) and 300+ text later, I have managed to recover my money! When this first began I contacted various attorneys and that wasn’t the route I wanted to take. I live in California and with a lawsuit I would have to travel to Ill the day of the hearing. Then once I had a judgment collecting would be an entirely different animal as you all know. I decided to pursue this on my own by threats of legal action. (among other threats) This Clown, SOB is definitely one in a million, He's never ending lies promising payments and transfers only to find each time he promised payment it would NOT happen. He even went to the extent of saying the transfer was done and completed and I would see it hit my account shortly, when it was never actually done!! Who does that? All I can say, I’m glad he didn’t live in driving distance from me!! He’s a sick and spineless individual, a habitual liar that has fallen in some heavy financial problems. Paypal blocked his account with 40K balance for screwing some other fellow.. Unfortunately it was bad timing for me. for Paypal blocked his account a day after i wired money so he used my funds to survive. He did the same thing to another guy i found online, So,…Do yourself a huge favor,STAY FAR away from this clown at all costs.
