Nothing else like the RubberB

We spent the weekend at Clearwater Beach, so I strapped the Black Bay back onto the RubberB before heading out. I've had it on leather the last couple months and I must say that the RubberB is my favorite strap for this watch. It just fits it so well, and I think makes it truly feel like the tool watch it was meant to be.

Well worth the money for the strap for anyone on the fence about it!

The rubber b was the best thing I could have got for one of my blackbays I love my rubber b on blackbay such a nice taper.i see you have the strap on the watch the wrong way round.for this reason I use an 18mm tang with mine, because when I used an oem clasp I would only have it installed upside down like you because I hate the tail at 6.00 if you wear it correctly
So to have the tail at 12 like you have the clasp opens backwards and the tudor logo on the clasp is upside down and that sucks .

As soon as Rubber-B release their BB58 version I (among with many others, I suspect) will be all over it!

Have you reached out to them? Might be worth a shot, considering the number of owners of the BB58 (seems like there's a lot around here anyway).

Because he does lol.the tail end is supposed to be at 6 if you want the clasp to open the right direction, thats why I used it backwards like the op for a day as it looks nicer but It annoyed me so I use tang with the rubber b now

I like these but I have a hard time spending $250 on a rubber strap. Yes, I know I spent $10,000 on the watch, but I have a weird, irrational, mental hurdle here.

I'm not all that familiar with the different variations of them, but it looks like a regular tang style setup to me. Maybe I'm wrong.

tried rubber b, didn't like it because their strap holes are too wide, one notch up, it's too tight, one notch down, it's too loose. Plus the fact that the end link part bends straight down, instead of a gentle curve, just looks unpleasant.

I'm assuming he is using the deoyemt clasp like 99 percent of people do ,of course he may be using a tang and if he is then the strap is on the correct way .im the only person I've ever seen that uses a normal tang buckle with the tudor rubber b so I assumed he was using clasp

I tried one with green stripe on my LVc and wasn't quite feeling it, not sure the quality was much above the $50 ones on ebay.

So, you can get an Everest for $230...

But seriously, I couldn’t push the buy button at $230 even after I put it in my basket.

This is on a tang and not upside down, haha. Just a little bit of whale tail there.

I felt the same way and was hesitant to buy at first, but I just could not get a fit on any strap (nato, leather, other rubber) that fit to my liking. The lugs are in a weird spot (for me) on the Black Bay, such that there is a large gap from strap to watch case. It just looks ugly.

With the Rubber B, it makes the strap look integrated and I'm love the feel of them. Well worth the money, trust me. Even if you don't like it, you can always sell as there are people who would buy it pre-owned for like $20-30 less, so not much loss to you.

I could keep the Black Bay on the bracelet, but I already have other watches on bracelet and want this on something different.

If you've worn an Audemars Piguet, Richard Mille or Roger Dubuis on rubber you have worn Rubber B quality, It's the same factory & now they even have gone public with the OEM Dubuis straps. Unless all these brands are $50 eBay quality

They make rubber bands for 80k watches. Your 10k watch will be safe

True, not a ton of risk if I didn’t like. I’m trying to come around to picking one up.

Not concerned about the watch on rubber. I’m hung up on paying $250 for a new band.
Not sure why though lol
