First Rolex (Potentially) 16610 - questions

Hey everyone, I have been lurking around here for a long time and finally decided to buy my first Rolex. The watch in question is an L serial number 16610. Reason behind this specific watch watch is it's a 1989 and that is my birth year. I've always thought it would be cool to have a watch the same age as I am. (Both 30 this year) The case appears to be polished some (is it too much?) and the bracelet looks a little worn. Before I pull the trigger, I just wanted some input on the watch from those who are more knowledgeable than I am...

Daylight pics head on of the engravings - serial, model, clasp, etc. Also need head on daylight shot of dial / case. Who is the seller? 301b :/

Genuine watch, awfully stretched Oyster bracelet and overall bad condition. That's my opinion.
