GMT II Rootbeer II 126711CHNR Price Worth it?

Hi all,

Seems that many of the sports model are not available easily in the local ADs including where I am based in. Wanting to get the GMT II 126711CHNR but only available brand new in grey dealers.

Do you think USD$18,888 for a brand new unworn is worth the price? Or should wait it out till price goes lower which i think is unlikely

Its unbelievable the prices of the SS like the Pepsi and Batman on jubilee are almost on par with the TT! I think most of the serious collectors are moaning the lack of watches at AD but not wanting to get from grey dealers shops.

I was able to buy new as a 1st Rolex purchase at an AD. I feel like $17500 is more in line with a true price of this watch.

Was that how much you paid at the AD? Did you need to wait?

Doubtful he paid that much at the AD. Pretty sure he meant $17500 is more in line with the fair aftermarket pricing.

Yes. $17500 is on par in the secondary market.

Definitely wait at the AD rather than getting this gray. They are available for not much significant wait. A lot easier to get than their SS Jubilee counterparts.

$15.5 at the AD with taxes. And yes i think the TT is undervalued at that price.
