Nip & tuck at 36

IMHO insanely skilled case refinishing by Rolliworks on my 36 year old 16750. Happy camper here. Thanks Mike and Sal.

Jeez, it looks new. Love how they kept the lug-holes sharp too. Also the brush detail on the metal, how it flows into the bracelet. Maybe better than new.

That looks incredible. What an amazing job with the refinishing...the details on the lugs are perfect. Congrats.

It's some kind of alchemy I think. Honestly, no idea how they do it. Lasers? Magic elves?

They did a great job and I am very happy many other vintage pieces can be rescued this way!

Excelent work but am I the only one who thinks the case and bracelet look too new (together with the dial and bezel) for a vintage watch?

I can understand that, but a few months of wear and it'll blend nicely.

Good eye. The 78360 bracelet is in fact new. I've got the original and may have it restored some day. After losing his Submariner in - of all places - the ocean, my dad bought this GMT in 1983 and then passed it on to me. These days it gets some gentle wrist time...

Is that insert original? Font looks too thick for a 16750...it’s beautiful
