Vegas Hotel Recommendations?

I know there are several posts, but was looking for the latest info & thoughts. We're looking to be more or less in the center of the strip; current hotels on the list are Bellagio, Cosmopolitan & Aria.

Thanks!

Aria is great. I have stayed there numerous times. Always excellent.

Stay there and try the awesome Bellagio buffet one day for breakfast or lunch.

It depends how much “action” you’re looking for. Of your list, The Bellagio will be more peaceful, while the Cosmo is a loud nightclub feel hotel for the younger crowd. Aria is very nice , very quiet, but in a shopping mall. Depends really what you’re looking for in a Vegas hotel? Are you single? Or does the wife want a spa/resort feel hotel, rather than her having to watch a bunch of strippers in G strings walk around by the pool!?

PM me if ya have any questions...I kinda know my way around out here a little bit.

If a hotel in Vegas is all about being in the middle of the action, go LinQ for mid budget and Bellagio or Caesars for high upper end.

FWIW, there's no real average to low Vegas hotel any more unless you go up to Circus or down to Excalibur. I even like the Palms and its considered way off strip, but its clean and newish with a great pool.

Make sure you visit Wynn as its the cleanest of the lot and has amazing smells.

It's hard to say. This is our first Vegas trip & while neither of us are gamblers and past our nightclub "prime", she wants the "Vegas experience" in the thick of it. Beyond that, she's mostly interested in seeing a few shows & I'll be looking to see what watches aren't in stock anywhere... LOL. I doubt we'll even hit the pools, as we typically hit the Caribbean for pool resorts & relaxation (although I don't mind watching strippers parading around).

She has mentioned the Bellagio several times (mostly for the fountains & her friends recommendations), I was leaning to the Cosmo & get a terrace with the fountain views.

Haha, some people don't like our President, and try to avoid any property with his name on it.

(I once lived in a condo in Trump Tower Chicago. And some people told me: "Why would you live in the Trump Tower, of all places?".)

Aria, Cosmo, Bellagio, Venetian or Palazzo. Throw in Caesars too. All nice and in the heart of the strip.

I had a terrible stay at the Aria last year. The first room wasn't even made up and second one was then a downgrade with an empty mini bar. I was in a rush and to get to a dinner and unfortunately went with it.

Stayed at the Bellagio, Venetian and Wynn since then and would say they are all much better overall experience. Palazzo/Venetian rooms are nice and big.

Wynn is my favorite but also like Aria and Bellagio. I would stay at Wynn every time but I have often found Aria to be a much better value price wise.

We stayed at the Cosmo last year and loved it! Get a fountain view room in the boulevard tower. There is nothing like having a balcony over looking the Bellagio fountain and a great view of the Vegas lights.

Agree. I think the Wynn is awesome. Has a nice clean feeling unlike others on the strip. Aria is great too, modern and great value wise. Don’t worry about being too “central,” you can get a taxi anywhere. Also, highly recommend seeing Cirque du Soleil while you’re there.

Enjoy the trip!

I personally have stayed at Bellagio, love it kind of has that old school Italian feel. Also stayed at Cosmo the rooms are way newer way more upgraded, and beautiful views of the fountains and Vegas strip also some rooms have balcony’s.

Casino wise - cosmo is almost always popping and they have massage girls at table.

Bellagio more refined and quiet still a nice place to play and stay.

Other than that I’ve heard good things at Aria but wayyyy to many bad experiences to ever stay there again!

Bellagio, Aria, Venetian Wynn

I think Venetian is good value for the size of room.

Wynn! I’ve stayed in almost all the hotels there and by far the best in Las Vegas. IMO

Wynn without a doubt Is the best hotel but it’s away from the centre - I’m going back there for my 5th stay next year. I stayed at Cosmo in 2014 on a stag do and it’s great for a younger and livelier felling of that’s what you want. I also stayed at the Bellagio in 2006 on a stag do and that was great but if you read reviews on TA they say it’s gone downhill a bit due to cost cutting - quite a few reviews about it. Never been to Aria so do know but they will all be pretty good I’m sure.

Cause he's a complete goof.

I like Encore the best. Love switching up the energy and walking between Encore and Wynn.
