Pretty happy

So I know we have all been wondering about the SS shortage and in fact every other day we see posts of pricing and speculations. This watch game is crazy, it can be a never ending pursuit of the next piece.

Do to the shortage and my personal unwillingness to spend more than msrp, it has made me be able to appreciate what I do have.

Just wanted to share a quick pic of my 3 amigos. Maybe one day I will be able to add a white Daytona and a BLRO. Till then.....

Obviously they have different color pallets. But, do you feel like they are very similar?

I ask because I now have a BLNR & Sub with a DJ41 coming in, but don’t know if I should keep my Sub (it’s seems kinda redundant to my new GMT). I could easily live with one sport and one dressy watch.

You have a great trio. A good place to be in a hot market!

Oh they’re totally very similar. A while back a friend of mine showed me an amazing collection of toys. And his motif was collecting anything everything Joker (from Batman). I mean this guy has crazy glass cabinets of these jokers ranging from hot toys to god knows what. He will be over later this evening and when he’s here I will get him to give me a pic so I can post it here and show you guys what I mean.

Anyway his collection kind of made me think of pushing my own little watch collection in one direction. So I started the the LN, then the LVC and now the BLNR. Granted the 2 are subs and one is GMT I feel they have a consistency to it.

Don’t take me wrong guys I’d love to expand in other directions. That said though the stuff I would want to add is not within the price range that I’m personally comfortable with spending. So keeping within this sub, GMT space works for who I am at the moment.

@Dougiebaby only you can decide if the variations you have ultimately will work. But IMO (for what it’s worth) the BLNR and the sub are different enough that it warrants having both.

Thanks guys for all the kind words

Great threesome you have there. I agree with you of feeling content. I have five I bought within the past 2 years with help from my great AD and I'm not stressing to ad anything at this point.

5 pieces in two years is pretty awesome. Not sure how they all came in but thats like a new piece every 6 months.

Sounds like you’re enjoying you rotation
