Did you look at the way the endlinks don't match the watch?

I definitely think this watch is overpriced. I bought a 1996 18238 last year in excellent condition for <$11K. No box or papers, but, the watch is beautiful. If I were you, I'd keep looking.

So, here's the difference. Corrado got something wrong, was corrected, and admitted he got it wrong. It happens to all of us from time to time.

You get things wrong all the time and, rather than owning up to it when you're called out, either just forge ahead with your misinformation or move on to another thread to provide your dubious advice there.

And your habitual use of the gunfighter emoji is both laughable and tone deaf at the same time.

That 18038 looks ok to me. I see nothing wrong with it at all. I mean really nothing at all. Its beautiful! A bit expensive as pointed out, but in line with eBay prices IMO.

FYI, those end links fit the case perfectly. End links on a President dont go all the way to the bezel.

That is odd, though. Wonder why. By "odd" I mean, an odd design decision by Rolex. Seems like they cut a corner and used "close enough" end links.

The shape of a president case is different. Those end links are actually touching the case. It’s just the photo that makes it look like there is a gap

You can get a 18038 for 8k. You may have wait a bit or for 9k. Another option is the 19038 oysterquartz Day Date. Those are the best value. I've seen those for 7,500. Patience is key. If you are going to drop 12k get a 18238.
