My trio, but need a fourth to round out

So I’ve recently narrowed my entire collection down to the below three SS sports models. I’m probably pushing my luck at this point with my AD but I’d like to own just one more to round out and complete the collection at least for now (we all know this is a contagious and incurable disease). Obviously I won’t be able to obtain a Daytona anytime soon unless I pay the preposterous gray dealer price but I’m now considering asking my AD for the following:

1) Yacht Master 126622 blue dial
2) Submariner 114060 aka the no date
3) DJ 41 126334 fluted bezel blue stick dial on jubilee.

Since these are still possible to obtain within a reasonable window of time, which rounds out the collection best? I’m leaning towards the blue YM since it’s something out of the box for Rolex but then again it is another sports model with PCLs. Then again the Sub is a watch I could pass down to my son someday without it ever going out of style. Then there’s the idea of having at least one dress watch in the DJ.

Educated opinions are appreciated. Thanks to all in advance.

I like the YM the best and a blue dial will go nice with those three. I also like the YM way more than a Daytona but if the Daytona is what you really want then get on your ADs list and wait. It’s not like you have nothing to wear in the meantime.

Whichever you choose congratulations on a great collection so far.

I think the DJ would be a nice addition. Normally I’d say 114060 but you’ve already got 3 professionals

Good luck, no wrong answer

A SS Daytona would complete your collection.

The YM is what I’m leaning towards. Appreciate the opinion.

First off congrats on owning some of the hottest pieces right now. Awesome lineup you have there.

I think the YM might be just the piece to add. You’ll love how the case feels a bit more elegant than the sub and gmt. Also it would appear that you do like splashes of colour so the blue dial would be a nice variation to the blacks and green.

I think my recent acquisition (2 weeks ago) of the Pepsi through my AD puts me out of the running or least at the bottom of any mythical “list” at my AD. It truly is a sad state of affairs in the watch game.

Great trio. No love for gold? Maybe a TT DJ to switch things up a bit. Out of the 3 choice I would go DJ41

SS Daytona would be the cherry on top. DJ41 would be a nice addition as well.

I was thinking the exact same thing. The YM has all the slimming curves of a Daytona with an amazing and unique dial. Thanks for the response.

Daytona is likely out of the question. I feel like my AD thinks he did me a HUGE favor by getting me a Pepsi a few weeks ago. Chances of getting a Daytona at retail? Slim to none for me.

The 114060 has always been on my radar. But I worry I may not wear it often bc of the hulk. Truth be told, the hulk gets the least wrist time of the current 3.

Yup I’ve also considered a Daytona on Oysterflex. But who would’ve imagined a waiting list for a PM on a rubber strap????!!

If not Daytona, then the DJ in the exact configuration you've listed. I think this would add more variety and versatility to your collection compared to the YM and Sub no date options.

Daytona or SkyDweller. You can't go wrong with either one. Probably lean Daytona with your trio.

You have 3 amazing sports watches, do you want another or do you want to add some diversity? Guessing your budget based on your suggestions I would go for the following:

If you want another sports watch: 114060
If you want a dress watch but still robust and rolex: DJ 41
If you want something completely different: JLC reverso or JLC MUT moon

I have never owned a yacht master but they don't really appeal to me.

If you want to save a bit you could add a robust (sort of) dress watch with a unique complication, and rolex.... the sky dweller.

You have nearly the perfect collection.. I believe you are missing the following 3:

Seadweller-
You have a sub so you can check that box but you dont have any black in there- the SD43 will give you that classic black Rolex diver look in a slightly oversized package).

Daytona-
Assuming you get the black SD43 you should add the white ceramic Daytona.

DJ41 or DJ2-
You need a more classic dressier looking Rolex but one that doesnt look too dainty relative to the rest of your collection... Check out the blue or the Rhodium dial.

Thx for reading...

DJ. A YM or another Sub and you’d have four pretty similar watches. Plus a DJ is awesome.

I own them all, included the 3 in your poll (but the sub LN with date and the DJ41 on jubilee with smooth bezel) but my vote goes to the YM blue. You need that to complete that trip

Lets face it. The perfect watch to round off the collection is a white 116500 LN; after that you need to add a day date

You got all these from your AD and yet you write that last sentence?

Because the Daytona is not immediately forthcoming?

In-effin-credible!
