No SS Watches in Taormina, Santorini or Athens...

Cruising myself had the opportunity to visit a few AD’s. There is no SS watches and don’t look they are expecting them.
One of the guys in our cruise visiting the AD was close to buy a Platona in Athens.

When you ask for SS watches they look at you with Poker Face !

Still have a chance in Mykonos and Capri but I’m not very positive.

Soooooooooooo......

You know it’s a tough life when your on a Greek cruise and you decide you might pick up a platona while you at it :). He should ask the AD to bring out an SS if he gets the Platona. I’m sure they have one in the safe. If he doesn’t want it maybe he can let you buy it if they have one. Meanwhile put you phone down and enjoy the cruise. It’s a beautiful place. Was there last year.

Did this surprise you ? There are not any stainless steel in any stores unless your a special VIP or buying gray. Your more likely to find one in a small town AD than a tourist destination.

If US wins the trade war, there will be a ton of grey market SS watches coming from China.

If China wins the trade war, I take it that nothing will happen.

Are you sure you know what’s going on?

You’re in places where there’s quite a lot of money floating about with wealthy tourists. Of course dealers will be dry

I agree. You and the guy wanting the Platona should team up. He buys the Platona & you buy the SS Daytona that will magically appear.
