Oyster Perpetual 34, 114200
Sometime back in June, I was introduced to the Oyster Perpetual 34. It is not exactly a love at first sight kind of watch but it sorts of linger in my mind after seeing one.
I like the OP for the white dial, baton markers and no date simplicity. Ironically, It’s clean understated look is opposite to my current collection. Not sure if it would get enough wrist time to justify this purchase. But hack, you can’t be wrong with a Rolex isn’t it. Rather tricky to capture the white dial indoors. I’ll try to take an outdoor pic |

Congratulations! That’s nice clean watch and looks great even under indoor lighting! Wear it in good health.

Nice lume.
Better batons than doubled ones on the 36mm, IMO, but I'm not sure if I don't prefer the ones on the 39mm, which are similarly single but all of equal size and length. This is more like the Milgauss. Would need to try it on. Congrats, in any case. |

Yes I prefer the 34mm batons vs 36mm. IMO the wider markers at the 3,6,9 on 34mm makes the dial pops a little vs the 39mm |

Looks fantastic! I remember when that white dial was initially shown at Basel - had all the makings of a winner.

Looks great! How big is your wrist? I've been considering getting a 34mm OP.

I would take a 34mm over my 39mm just makes for a more classy feel.
