Regarding The Warranty: Nerd Alert
I should do this as a poll, but I wouldn’t know the denominator.
How often do Rolexes need repair under the original warranty? Spontaneous mutation in E. Coli is about 1:10,000,000; so, by parallel, it should be about one one watch ever 5-10 years. |

I guess I don't understand the question, what type of defect are you talking about? Do you mean when you receive the watch from an AD it isn't running well aka outside of Rolex COSC of +2/-2? I believe that happens occasionally.
