Rolex 1960’s bubble top Pepsi

Any such animal? GMT with red 2nd zone hand, off white face, jubilee bracelet, cyclops date. Guy kept calling it a bubble top. Long strange story.

There is a pan am executive version with a white face. Very rare beast. Upper 5 figures to six figures iirc. Post a picture if possible.

It belonged to a guy I sat next to at a bar in SOHO yesterday. Said he also had 2 Paul Newman Daytona. Showed me pic of them on his phone. Guy was very eccentric and jittery. Said he was worth 700 million. Other people in the bar confirmed it. Had a 1968 Pontiac Judge sitting outside, all original. Let me tell you when I say he was a trip. He took of his watch and let me look at it. I did not want to take a picture. Like I said, creamy white face and jubilee bracelet. That I remember. I was also 2 martinis in.

Oh, and when he took it off, he slid it across the bar crystal down. Was in good shape except for a scratch on the bezel. The bezel didn’t look aluminum. Kinda like a plastic??? Not sure.

Googled it and found it, legendary rare albino GMT. Guy was the real deal.

I remember that article when Ben published it, some 4 years ago. To this day, has Rolex ever confirmed (or, denied) that this watch with that dial ever came out of their factory?

Slid the bakelite insert across the bar... classic.
