First Post- Hello

I'm new to the forum, but I have enjoyed lurking for a while and decide to sign up. I have always been a Rolex fan having owned a Submariner and SS Datejust, but in the past 5 years I have not been very active in the watch world. That has changed in the past week with the sale of a vintage piece and the purchase of a new Explorer. In searching threads on the Explorer 1, I was glad to see that there is a community that appreciates the simplicity and smaller size of this classic "tool" watch.

Other watches I have include a 80s Tag Heuer, a gigantic Seiko automatic divers watch, and my trusty Suunto T4 Heart rate/GPS/etc. As for myself outside the watch hobby, I'm an avid cyclist and wannabe triathlete and by profession I work in aviation.
