Having just bought my Rhodium dial DJ41 I thought that I would dust off my macro lens and have a bash at a few watch shots.

For those that are interested the set-up was, Nikon Z7, Sigma 105mm, tripod mounted. The watch was sat on a black felt headphone bag, with natural light only no flash or reflectors.

Suggestions on how to improve my shots will be very welcome.

Maybe using a smaller aperture and slower shutter speed to show the “motion” of the seconds hand?

Yep, good idea, the aperture was closed a fair bit, I was working around f11-f13 so there are a few more stops to go. I was also shooting at ISO400 so could drop that a bit to add some movement blur. Thanks for the suggestion.
