How much is it worth?

When my mom got this from the Tiffany store inNYC, not so long ago, we paid 60-65K for it. Does any specialist here know to tell me how much it’s worth in the secondary market?
Just want to show her it was a good purchase

Thanks!

I think you are going to have to let your mom down.

Check Chrono24 for asking prices on the grey market if you don’t find it here in the For Sale section.

The t stamp might save her in the end.

Congrats to your Mom! Typically ladies pieces do not appreciate or even maintain their value and most mens pieces as well

Watch purchases should not be construed as “investments” and most watch enthusiasts do not expect a positive return on investment. Imagine if your mom purchased shares of AAPL or even MSFT at that time, she would probably have gotten a better return. Then on the other hand, she did buy a unique and generational watch to be passed on to future generations. You don’t truly own a Patek, you look after it for the next generation...

Buy because you like it, not because you want to sell it. Looks lovely and hope that she enjoys it! If you're spending that much on a watch I would guess that you aren't in it to be selling it later

Doubtful.

In my experience, T-stamp on anything but a sports watch hasn't really done anything (in general).

Ladies' watches are typically very soft on re-sale. There has been an up tick over the past few years but still a losing proposition. Most ladies in that market want new.

How much is it worth?

Haha don’t really care about the worth, she just asked me today... but she really likes the watch so the current value was just out of interest... she is neither a collector, she just gets pieces she likes, she owns a DJ36, Cartier ballon bleu, a franck Muller and now the patek.. non of them for the sake of investment
thought it would make her even happier since she saw an article about all the patek craze (even for a non collector it’s nice to hear if your piece is worth more than you paid).... but it’s all good.. thanks to all of you anyway :) have a great day

Your a good person for doing something so incredibly nice and generous for your mom. On the down side much smaller universe of potential buyers for that type of piece so you likely monetarily took a hit. On the up side I would hope she would never seek to sell such a beautiful and thoughtful token.

As a point of reference I have typically been able to buy my wife's collection new at a 25-30% discount to MSRP which I assume would drive down secondary sale valuations if we ever tried to sell.

Again beautiful piece and I hope she wears it through health and happiness.

Such a kind response, thanks man. As long as she’s happy, I’m happy. On that note, now gotta please the girlfriend
