Clasp durability

My DJ reference 126234 came in. I got the Jubilee bracelet and was wondering how durable it is to opening and closing everyday. I plan to wear it everyday but will be taking it off for sleep. I guess this should be a non issue for the durability of the clasp?

In addition to the above question has anyone ever had their clasp (Jubilee in this case) come off due to tucking it under their long sleeve shirt/jacket?

Thanks!

It's a machined clasp, will last damn near forever. A shirt cuff won't pull it up.

Opening and closing a clasp a few times a day isn't going to do anything.

The clasp on my DJ has never opened on its own.

Even if one day in the far future the clasp fails for some reason, it can easily be replaced.

If ever it becomes slack just a small bending will make it tight again. Use it as often as you like

They open and close with such a solid click! I wouldn't worry about this too much, you'll probably wear out your finger nail before the clasp.

Interestingly Tudor uses ceramic bearings in some of its clasps. A case where “little brother” is more technically advanced.

Im sure little brother is a real world test bed for possible future implementation on big brother.
