That’s just incredible and will be worth the wait, however long. I greatly prefer the GS watches with a contrasting numeral bezel. They have a sportier look than the dressier GS pieces which, lovely as they are, often feel somewhat austere. Great choice!

UPS tracking number received.

Sorry for this useless post but I need to vent my excitement. Haven't bought a watch for several years and had lost all interest.
Family and heartache took priority.

So I got the watch 2 days ago and have to say I am totally in love with it.
The angular case makes it stand out and unique. It is a love or hate design, I am sure. But I fall completely in the 'love' camp :)

And the spring drive, it is my first but for sure won't be my last. The sweeping hand is intoxicating to look at.

What is more amazing to me, is it similarly to our own heart that also relies on a small electrical current to make it beat. The mechanical part is 'wired' to an electrical part just like our own heart.

Here are some wrist shots as requested. They are not the best , I am sorry, my camera developed a defect and error message recently and haven't got around to buying a new one. Anyway, I hope it gives you the feeling how it looks on a 16.8 cm wrist.
The size is just perfect for this type of watch, I would not want it to be smaller at all. The short lugs make it wear like a 41/42 and love the big bezel/dial on top. It is just a dream to wear and of course being titanium not heavy at all.

Thanks ! Did I understand you correct that you ordered 2 Godzilla's?
Or do you mean you'll have 2 same style watches with a different dial?

Have to say, can't understand why the Godzilla is so much more expensive on a leather strap though. You woud think it would be cheaper.

Looks amazing in the flesh, oozes charm, the dials looks superb as does the case.
Maybe the nicest offering ive ever seen from GS.
Congrats to you, great choice.

Congrats! I meant to try it out at the Boutique when I was in Amsterdam a few weeks back but they were closing and I didn't manage to get back. Looks awesome though - enjoy

Thank's everyone, much appreciated. I have owned over a dozen Rolexes but not one of them gave me the 'honeymoon' joy this watch is given me. I really am having a hard time to take it of before turning in. LOL

I had longed for a good looking, innovative sport watch since a long time. Happy Grand Seiko did the unbelievable and made a complete new case design. Nothing copied, nothing hommage, nothing 'inspired by' but 100% Grand Seiko. Love it!

Today, waiting in the car for my significant other :

Congratulations, I was able to see one of these in Japan. What a gorgeous watch.

I’m on the same page as you with regards to the joy from acquiring a Grand Seiko watch. I’ve only owned three Rolex watches but the emotional satisfaction from my recent Grand Seiko purchase is different, better.

Godzilla commands a higher price because the studio with the rights to Godzilla needs to get paid...
