Winding resistance

When I first got my watch I wound, set the date and time. There was no resistance when winding the watch the very first time. I wear it almost everyday with a day here and there not on my wrist.

It's about a month old. I just tried winding it for the first time now and I feel resistance when doing so. Is this normal? I want to say it's due to the watch being "wound enough" but I am no expert.

Any ideas?

It's a spring. The more you wind it, the more torque it builds, pushing back against your winding.

When fully wound, it not only has maximum torque, you will begin physically turning the entire spring within it's barrel.

3235? If so mines not quite as smooth as my 3130 or 3131 in the milgauss
