Datejust II running slow

My four year old Datejust II is losing two minutes each day. It’s my everyday watch and has been since buying it. Is there anything I need to do before sending it off to Rolex for service?

No.

Are you going for the full spa treatment or just movement service?

If you are a “loupe” type person, taking photos is a good idea.
