White Daytona 116500

I called a few dealerships in Toronto and none of them had a white Daytona. Apparently there are waiting lists for this watch. I am considering if I should leave a deposit and put myself in the waiting list.

Is there anywhere in Canada I can get one?

OP, let me guess, you're an astronaut who has spent the last 10 years on Mars. Correct?

It's is quite literally the most demanded SS rolex at the moment. That's why it's over 2x retail on the used/grey market.

Just keep calling around/stopping in and try to establish a solid relationship. You might get lucky.

If you’re able to find an AD in Toronto who will take your deposit for one you’re lucky or a very big spender. I think it’s tougher than most other cities, probably similar to NYC. Buying a few PM’s isn’t enough.

Hmm, thats strange. You’re not trying hard enough! You should just go into the AD and see them personally. That should do the trick...

Also offer to pay with credit card. That always works.

Good luck!

Nowhere in Canada or any other country, unless you have spent considerable amounts before with the same AD

I saw 3 in the display case the other day and the AD even offered me 10% off to move his inventory. Then I woke up.

I think this is an excellent question worthy of all of our ideas. Keep calling the local AD. Go in and talk watches. Get your name on the wait list. Be a friendly person, easy to get along with. When that doesn't work fast enough for you, buy from a re seller or private party for a price above MSRP. or purchase 200K worth of other watches and jewelry from your preferred AD. Hopefully one of these is going to get you a white dial Daytona.

Mmmmm...

As others have said, if you need to ask this kind of question, you will unlikely never get one at MSRP.

Unfortunately, you are asking for probably the most sought after modern Rolex on the planet (along with the Pepsi, Hulk, and SkyD-blue). And arguably the top 3 current production watches on the planet (Rolex Daytona 116500, PP 5711-blue, and AP 15202st).

Waitlists for many ADs stretch YEARS with extreme cases (and silly) up to a decade.

Many ADs will not accepts deposits because they have no idea when and how many Daytonas they will receive. do the math. 400 waitlist ....10 daytonas a year (both white and black) and where is your name on the list?

hate to be blunt but this is just the reality for Rolex, esp the Daytona-white

I’ve had purchase history at my AD and have been waiting for one for over 3 years now.

There is definitely somewhere in Canada you can get one, but it will not be from an AD. This is one of the, if not the most difficult watch to get on the planet. There is a reason they sell for a 100+% markup on the secondary market.

In any event, go talk to some ADs and ask them what it would take for you to get one, and you'll have your answer direct from the horse's mouth. (You probably won't like the answer)

I received mine after waiting 3 years from a Toronto AD, that is with a previous buying history and having my name down right after Basel.

So... Not really sure you'll get one without it or dropping a lot of money on another piece and/or jewelry .... But stranger things have happened and people have been lucky.
