Fast old Tudor

My old Tudor has just started running fast, really fast. Its gaining an hour every 24 hours. Was fine until the last time I wore it a couple of days ago. I'm wondering if maybe the mainspring has become magnetized.

Well, it hasn't been serviced since I've owned it and who knows how long before that, so I guess its on its way to the watchmaker.

I don't want to get technical, but according to chemistry alcohol IS a solution!
