Decision time: 116234/16750 vs 114270/118239
Hey guys,
Been on these forums since I started collecting 4 years ago. Thanks for all the fun threads. This will be my first one, hopefully it sparks some fun conversation :) So, the question is: would you rather have a 116234 stainless white dial (jubilee & fluted) datejust and a 16750 GMT matte dial... or 114270 explorer 1 and 118239 white gold president (fluted & white dial)? If you HAD to choose a pair. For background, I have the 116234/16750 combo now. The GMT is black bezel with oyster but I also have the jubilee bracelet and Pepsi bezel in case. Now the kicker is that I have an oysterflex bracelet that I sourced in hopes of a Daytona but putting it on an explorer sounds really nice. I saw a post here of the 39mm explorer and I thought doing the same to the 36mm might be very cool. So which pair would you choose? Don’t say get them all, such a rolexforum thing to say.. |

It’s a hard call, but I’d lean toward having the President, so option 2.
Personally for option 2 I’d do an Explorer II over the Explorer, assuming you like to have dual time for when you travel.
