5990/1a-001 Tiffany Dial
Hi guys, I have a question for you Patek enthusiasts and collectors regarding an estimated price for a Patek Philippe Nautilus 5990/1a-001 with the Tiffany dial.
I am selling one gently worn (bought in 2015)... I am used to buy and sell a lot of pieces (mainly Rolex), but I am having problems to put the right price on the watch Searching in the internet I found only one 5990/1a-001 tiffany dial for sale (in Hong Kong)...BNIB 2018 watch...asking price is US$275.000 What would be a good/realistic price for my piece? Best regards, Guilherme |

Reason why you might have a problem selling is because the Grey market got week. Also new is new and used is used, slightly used or heavily used does not matter when selling, and your watch is a 2015 which makes it tougher to get top dollar. I would probably say anywhere from 130k to 150k

Sounds about right.
Get quotes from GM dealers. Best way to start. |

Wow! Dr, AVI & Co offered $150k wholesale and you want to sell , you should take their offer imo. That’s huge!

Email all the big guns. 1-2 isn’t enough.

I would definitely do this. Although - I think it’s going to be a REALLY tough sell no matter who jumps at it - $150 seems like a reasonable investment seeing that whomever buys it will likely sit on it for quite a while....it’s kinda like trying to sell a RO Concept...although that might be easier. I’ve never understood the premium for a Tiffany dial. But if you paid retail for it...at 150 thats a pretty solid profit. My .02 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

This.
I would discourage the OP from posting any offer prices here or elsewhere... as interesting as this information may be especially for the other dealers... Much better to leave the dealers in the dark when testing the market! |
