Rolex Inventory - Beverly Hills - Geary's

Hi Guys and Gals:

Quick inventory report from two days ago. Good selection of Rolex. More than I have seen anywhere else, in a long time. Excellent variety of models. If you went to buy a certain reference, and they did not have it, there were other desirable references to choose from.

Store told me it would be a 4 year wait for new GMT.

Lots of Tudors too.

Yes, lots of Day Dates !

Also, compared to Shanghai and Beijing China - they would die to have so much inventory there.

Tudors

My photos are not a comprehensive, complete record of this AD inventory, just random shots...

Diamond encrusted - just because you can doesn't mean you should. Are there enough buyers for these?

Those Rolex are ruin when they get customized like that and in my opinion probably drugs dealers, rappers and people that like to show the bling would buy them. Not for me... I like my Rolex watch like my car...all original...

Sometimes nice ladies like the bling. Can’t spin that as a total negative. Not my cup of tea for sure!

Assuming the store pictured is their Boutique a chance visit in early 2017 there rekindled my desire for another Rolex after an absence of six years. They had everything but SS Daytona on display and I tried on a BLNR for the first time. 10 months later I bought one at my local AD.
This past February I browsed there again and the shelves were bare of anything but PM’s and tutones as shown above. They were friendly enough but seemed a bit sheepish about the current situation. I’m sure they have a loyal clientele but in the heyday I’m sure tourists bought a lot of impulse purchases also. I’ll be back in LA next week, always enjoy walking around that area.

Thanks for sharing the pics.

Is this the store beside the Patek Philippe which is also owned by them? I went to this store several times and saw couple of Rolex professional models on each of my visit - SkyDweller SS Black and White on one occasion and the Exp 2 Black on another occasion. My last visit for professional model was barren though but with lots of Datejust and Day Dates displayed. But the folks there are friendly.

There’s another Geary store at the back of Rodeo Drive where they sell not only watches but also home decors and figurines. I went there to get a Lalique figurine though.

That's the typical Rolex inventory on display. I'm surprised the TT LB is still there. Would have expected that to be snapped up.

I only consider it good inventory when I see SS watches.
There has never really been a big shortage of Gold or TT watches where I am.
There maybe was with some very popular references but for the most part gold watches are filling the stores.
