AP - 26320or vs. 15400or
Hey Guys,
I've had my eye on purchasing my first AP, a 26320or for almost 2 years now but it's been nearly impossible to find the right price/condition. My local grey dealer recently received a 15400or which I never really thought about. The 15400or is coming from a dealer i trust and bought/traded with the last 3 years. the 26320or is from a reputable seller on the forums. 15400or is $27,895 - $5,500 (my IWC Big Pilot trade in value) - $895 (discount) making my cash total at $21,500 (walk in) 26320or is $34,750 - $5,500 (my IWC Big Pilot trade in value) making my cash total at $29,250 (shipped) At this point i'm thinking i should save myself the $7750 difference and pull the trigger on the 15400or. However, a part of me is also thinking I might regret this in the future as an additional $7,750 could've got me what i've been looking at for a few years now. Any AP owners have any thought or insight? How do you guys feel about the 15400 (RO) vs the 26320or (ROC)? Thanks in advance! |

Sounds like you’ve had your sights set on a 26320 for a while. That’s what I’d go with. Even if that meant waiting to find the perfect one.

That 26320 is a stunner, but I also like the 15400OR. Can't go wrong with either, but go with your heart!

In that configuration I’d go for the 15400. It’s just a beauty.

Both are beautiful. I'd personally go ROC.

At 41mm I prefer the ROC, fills the dial up better.

seems like you already made a decision but I would also go with the 15400 but not if you you are settling. make sure you are not going to regret the decision.

Would go 154000R and would also try to get a better deal on that Big Pilot.

26320 is one of my favorite pieces. I particular like it on strap because it breaks up the rose gold vs being on the bracelet.
Between the 15400 which I considered too, I went with the 26320 and never looked back. ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

What I've learned in the time I've collected is...don't settle.

First, what's up with the stitching on the 15400 in that photo?
I have the 15400or on strap (silver dial) and Chronograph but SS. The chrono gets more wrist time but I enjoy the simple dial on the 15400 more. This is tough for me if I had to pick one and if this is an everyday watch, I would go Chrono. Either way you will be happy! |

I am not an expert on Big Pilots but I have been tracking their prices on watchrecon every once in a while and have hardly seen any below 7k. I dont know if maybe you can sell it yourself rather than trade it in? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

But again, I'm no expert on the market. Re the APs, can't go wrong. RO's on straps are so elegant! |

Congratulations on the purchase! FYI, servicing costs for the 15400 is supposed to be less expensive than for the chronograph. Wear your watch in good health. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
