Oysterflex size markings

Please may i know if the size stated on the Oysterflex strap is always preceded by 'E-'? E g. E-F, E-G.

The most recent ones only have a single letter of C through G. The preceding E has been dropped.

I have an EE and EG my wrist size is 7 3/4 fits perfect

Also the alphabets represent number of links, equivalent of oyster bracelets. If on your oyster bracelet you counted 5 and 6 links on each side, then you Oysterflex equivalent is E and F.

Unless your wrist is very large or very small, you'll have an EE on one side. Daytona comes standard with EE EF, YM comes with EE EG. Both fit me the same in those configurations with 6.75" wrist. The new ones apparently only use the second letter.
