What are these white smudges on the lug of a stainless 15500 ?
I’m a first time AP owner, what are these smudges on all 4 corners of the lugs? It doesn’t come off

When you or someone else has cleaned/wiped the watch it’s been done with a cloth that has not been soft enough and it has scratched the vertical grain finish. You probably need a jewellers cloth for future.

Are you sure it won't come off with warm water and soap? Mine sometimes looks like that from wearing, sweat, dirt, etc, but cleans up nicely.

Yeah, my 15300 does this and a bath fixes it up. Its hard the way the bezel is shaped to get in that area really close to it, so the dirt builds up in that space.

I'd look into getting Wrist Clean, great cleaning product.

Soak it in a glass of water with dish soap for 15 minutes or so, clean with water and then a microfiber cloth, hopefully it will go away.

I've become irrationally obsessed with it, as have my friends. I clean my ceramic perpetual calendar every two or three days of use with it so it looks brand new. Absolutely love it. Kept all of my other pieces looking like they came right out of the box and packaging.

I had that happen a lot when I had the 15400. It bugged me that it wouldn’t wipe off with just a microfiber cloth and I had to wash it off. My loss, I was too OCD for that watch.
